If you're in the Kitchener, Waterloo area on June 1, 2012, love Linux, or are just getting into Linux, please feel free to stop by Misty Mountain Coffee shop (33 Queen Street South) and join us for our regular Ubuntu Hour from 7-8pm. I confirmed the back room for us today so if anyone has any projects to show on the big flat screen (HDMI connector only) feel free to bring them in.

Ubuntu hour is a very informal social hour to chat about Ubuntu, Linux, your latest coding project. For more structured presentations we urge you to also check out the Kitchener Waterloo Linux User's Group which holds monthly meetings the first Monday of each month.

Typically we hold our meetings in the back board room of Misty Mountain, but on occasion we've also spilled over to tables outside of the board room. I, Charles McColm, host an Ubuntu hour the first non-holiday Friday of each month.

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS was recently released. I'll have several burned 32-bit desktop CDs for anyone who wants one as well as a few 32bit Kubuntu and Xubuntu 12.04 CDs.

If you cannot make it to Ubuntu hour, but need some help with Ubuntu, please feel free to stop by The Working Centre's Computer Recycling Project any non-holiday Saturday.
