72pin non-EDO 70ns RAM to the rescue

It pays to be a pack rat, at least at work. Today I looked at a couple of HP Laserjet 5N laser printers that were donated a couple of weeks ago. The printers came equipped with an underwhelming 2MB of RAM, not nearly enough to print web pages, or anything graphically intensive. After doing a bit of investigation I discovered that the printer takes 72pin parity RAM running at 70ns. Unfortunately all my 16MB sticks (it can take a max of 4 x 16MB sticks for 64MB) were EDO and were not recognized. Still, it's cool this old RAM has come in handy again!
